Greg -
This is a interesting piece of work. It shows you understand how editing has developed from one stage to another and why. You understand the basic processes in relation to the technology available at various points in time. Your descriptions of the editing techniques are really to a Merit level. Unfortunately, Merit level work requires you to present work that is written well with very few errors in spelling and grammar. Your written work is not to a high enough standard to warrant achieving a Merit, particularly as your writing does not make it clear what I think it is you want to say.
I would suggest you take the time to proofread your work before submitting it in future. Read it aloud - it often reads very different and it makes it more obvious what needs correcting and clarifying. If writing is not your strong point, type your work in Word in the first instance so that you can get support from the software for corrections in spelling, etc. If you really struggle, I strongly urge you to seek ALS support. This is essential for all your future assignments and any work you might want to do in the future. 15.1P
